Once you remove that hub then you can see the cam gear and pin. It might be fine, and your issue is just the hub in front of it. You should be able to pull that off with a puller.

If you think it might be a rod bearing, pull the filter cut it open, unroll the filter media and take a look for metal, you can also order an oil sample kit, take the sample send it in and it will also tell the tale, if its a bearing. If it ain't broke don't fix it.Rotate the crank until the gap in the reluctor wheel teeth straddles the flange mounting surface of the upper oil pan. Loosen the nut on the oil pump, pull the oil pump drive gear off. Slide the reluctor wheel assembly off. You MIGHT have to 'clearance' the mating surface on the upper oil pan.
